 Apostle Shirley Brown is an ordained minister, wife, mother, grandmother, author, and entrepreneur whose life and ministry reflect her deep faith and unwavering commitment to God. A graduate of biblical colleges, she has faithfully served in ministry for over 30 years, touching lives both locally and internationally as a sought-after preacher, teacher, and prophetic voice.

In August 2000, after a season of prayer and fasting, God spoke to Apostle Shirley with the words: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” From this divine call, Lighthouse City Global was birthed a ministry dedicated to letting the light of Christ shine so that many will see, be saved, and glorify the Father. Walking by faith, Apostle Shirley claimed her first church building with only one chair. Every Sunday, she and the faithful gathered in prayer until one day, God sent an angel who sowed 25 chairs into the ministry. From those humble beginnings, Lighthouse City Global has grown into a thriving international ministry.

During the global pandemic, in one of the most difficult seasons of her ministry, Apostle Shirley founded Arise to Glow TV and Radio. What began as a leap of faith in uncertain times quickly became a God-moment, reaching countless people with the gospel. More than 15 souls were baptized, a testimony of God’s power to bring light in the darkest circumstances.

Known for her prophetic anointing, Apostle Shirley has been used by God to speak life, healing, and restoration into countless individuals. She leads her congregation into annual seasons of fasting and prayer every January, June, and September, believing in the transformative power of seeking God’s face. As president of Lighthouse City, Inc., she carries a global vision: to go into all the world and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Apostle Shirley is also a passionate mentor and spiritual life coach, raising up the next generation of leaders to walk in maturity, faith, and purpose. She is the host of dynamic conferences, such as "Broken to Be a Blessing" and "Waging War Prayer Conferences," where attendees encounter breakthrough, deliverance, and empowerment.
